About this record

Disclaimer and scam warning

Independent record. Not associated with, endorsed by or operated by Binance. We will never ask you to connect a wallet, log in or pay to recover funds.

Anyone who contacts you offering to recover funds in connection with this incident is likely a scam. This site does not recover funds, hold funds, run claims or ask for any payment, login or wallet connection. If a page or message claiming to be this site asks for one, it is not this site.

The core rule

Nothing on this site is stated in its own voice unless it is a calculation anyone can reproduce from public chain data. Everything else is written as who said what, with a link to the original, the time we captured it and a stored copy.

Every claim carries a verbatim quote. The database refuses to store a claim whose quote is not found in the text of the stored copy it cites. No quote, no claim.

What the status labels mean

Official means the party said it, not that it is true. An official statement is attributed to the party that made it. A party can be wrong, can change its figures, or can leave things out. We record what was said and when.

Verified on-chain Verified on-chain
Reproduced by us from raw chain data archived in our own storage. The method is shown.
Official Official
Stated by the party concerned (an exchange, an agency, a token issuer or similar), attributed to them. Official means the party said it, not that it is true.
Reported Reported
Stated by news media or an analytics firm, attributed to them.
Disputed Disputed
Credible sources conflict. The claim links the sources that disagree.
Debunked Debunked
Contradicted by primary evidence, which is linked.
Theory Theory
Speculation, attributed to whoever proposed it, shown with the evidence for and against.

How numbers are shown

Published totals and freeze figures differ between sources and change over time. We list every approved figure with its source, its time and its quote. We never average figures, never publish a consensus and never quietly pick one. Where we have calculated a figure ourselves from chain data, it is marked as an on-chain calculation and the method is shown beside it.

All times are UTC. Where a source gave only an hour or a day, the page says so.

What is automatic and what is reviewed

Capturing a source (its address, publisher, time and hash) and logging edits to tracked pages happen automatically. Everything else, including every claim, figure, timeline event, theory and address, is proposed first and appears only after a person approves it. Rejected and replaced items are not shown.

Naming people

A person or organisation is named only where public sources name them, and every statement is quoted and attributed. This site never makes an identification of its own. Being named in a source is not an accusation by this site.

Theories

Speculation is kept apart from claims. Each theory is labelled as a theory, credited to whoever proposed it, and shown with the quoted evidence for, against and context side by side.

What this site does not do

Corrections

If a quote is wrong, a statement is attributed to the wrong person, or a source has changed, the claim is corrected and the correction is noted on the claim. A public contact address for correction requests will be published here before launch. Corrections made, and requests for comment sent to named parties, are logged on Corrections and right of reply.

Tips, reports and email updates

There is no tip form, no form for people affected to report what happened to them, and no email signup yet. Nothing on this site collects your name, email address or any other personal data. Those features will be added only with a privacy notice. Until then, the daily briefings, the RSS feed and the JSON feed are the way to follow updates.
